Your First Session...
During our first session, we will review your intake forms together and explore what your hopes are for therapy. I also like to take this time to build rapport and a strong therapeutic alliance which will help create a solid foundation for our journey together. We will begin to discuss your goals for therapy and explore how I may be able to help you reach those desired results.
Getting the most out of your therapy...
In order to maintain the trust and rapport built, as well as reaching your objectives set within your catered treatment plan, it is highly recommended that we begin your journey by meeting weekly, if possible.
The duration of each session will depend on the type of therapy you are undertaking. Generally, sessions will last 50 minutes. In some cases, longer sessions may be necessary to address more complex issues. Over time, this frequency will shift based on your needs, progress and goals. In addition, some therapies may involve multiple sessions per week, while others may involve a single session every few weeks. Ultimately, the duration and frequency of your sessions will be determined by what best suits your individual needs.
